The owner and CEO of Max Traduções/Translations, Max Leite started on his path as a technical translator in 2013, accumulating since then a considerable amount of expertise in fields such as agricultural, engineering, medical, oil & gas, pulp, textiles, and transports. From 2015 on, however, he was able to apply all this expertise to the translation of patent applications, while working as an in-house translator at two different companies—first Rajão & Athayde, a patent translation agency, and then Kasznar Leonardos, a top Brazilian intellectual property firm—which gave him the opportunity to translate and review over 1 million words of patent applications in the aforementioned fields and more. Feeling confident to face new challenges, he then decided to dive deeper into this great new world of inventions, completing a few courses given by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in addition to a specialization on intellectual property law by the University of Pennsylvania, and finally, founded Max Traduções/Translations, a company where he could use all his knowledge and experience to help the innovators out there achieve their goals and protect their hard-earned inventions.
